This is a survival server, not vanilla, with claims and villages.
You join in the server, look to other village and you have 2 options, create one for you or convince someone to make you join in his village. The claim sistem work like this:
Use F3 + G for check chunks
use /c claim for claim a chunk
Place a chest and use it like a crafting table, using the recipe in /c recipe
close the chest and then add ore in, more ore you add, more time your claim will live, if you claim more chunk, you have to pay more of them.
