Description

As you have guessed, modpack101 is a custom modded survival server. Which offers a wide aspect of tech, magic and many more mods. alone the mods are fun, combined the pack is wonderfull. We as modpack101 are a fresh starting server which offer a lot of diffirent experiences in modpack. this custom modpack can be downloaded and comes with a guide on here how to install it with ease. Hope to see you soon on the server..

To intall modpack:
1. Download and save the .zip here (www.mediafire.com/file/rr7emze3vub98l1/OfficialDownloadNewPack.zip)
2. Place the .zip somewhere you will remember where it is (such as desktop)
3. Right click the .zip and select extract all
4. The folder that comes out ("OfficialDownloadNewPack") should now be opened and the .zip should be deleted
5. Click through the "OfficialDownloadNewPack" folder until you find 5 folders titled "mods" "config" "flan" "scripts" and "modpack"
6. Leave this file open and start the minecraft launcher (this tutorial will assume you have the new launcher)
7. Go to "launch options" and select "advanced settings" then "add profile"
8. In the new profile, give it a name and select the game version as "forge-1.7.10-...1614" download for forge here: files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.7.10.html
9. Optional: use "JVM arguments" to configure the amount of RAM by changing -XmX#G at the beginning where # is the amount of Ram you want to allocate (recommended for decent performance is half of your computer total and at least 2)
10. Go back to your "OfficialDownloadNewPack" folder you had found earlier containing "mods"... etc.
11. Set the "game directory" on the minecraft launcher to use this file instead of the default .minecraft folder (the correct directory on windows is listed near the top of the screen and will be a series of folders ending at OfficialDownloadNewPackOfficialDownloadNewPack, simply copy this entire thing and paste into the launcher, copying is as simple as clicking the the right of the last OfficialDownloadNewPack folder and pressing ctrl+c)
12. Save your profile and select it by going to news and looking at the bottom to see profile names then using the arrow button to the right of "play" to open the profile menu.
13. Press play and enjoy, the remaining files you will need will be generated in this time and you will be ready to join the server
