Survival PvP Kingdom Legal Version 1.8.8

Description

It is in the 136th year of the first era of this world that our story begins, growing from a spark found in the void of the earth into a mighty kingdom, with two rulers at its head, King Jaspar and Queen Elsia of House Roarke. The two united many foreign nations and peoples in one city of light, creating the city of Assamouroth. The two separated from the darkness and death of the world the good, that which needed saving. They provided a haven for the good folk of the land, enabling them to live in harmony with each other. For many hundreds of years the great kingdom stood strong, and the people were happy and had all they desired. However, the darkness within the depths grew, and the people knew that their peace would not last forever.

The year is the 24th of the third Era of this earth, and during a cool, light night, two sons were born of the Queen. They each had their mothers ebony hair, and their fathers dark eyes. Endowed with riches and kindness, the boys grew together, united since birth against the dark forces in the world. Together they would battle the creatures found in the night, protecting the harmony of their mighty home. One day, after hunting in the woods in the centre of the land, the boys received news of their mother, who had become grievously ill. For days they ventured back to their home, beating against the endless current of time as they rushed to their mothers side. When they reached the gates of the great castle, however, the family banners were removed in place of large silken banners of the darkest black they had ever seen. Entering the oak doors of their castle, they found a trail of dying flowers leading to their mothers chambers. On her bed, swathed in a white dress, her ebony hair laying in a fan around her head with her lips still rosy pink was their mother. Her lips no longer smiling, her eyes lacking their usual light, the boys were distraught, their wails could be heard throughout the streets of their kingdom, clutching at the hem of their mothers dress the boys begged their gods for it not to be true. Each boy prayed to a different God to ease their despair the first son prayed to the sun Goddess, Shirael, and the second son to the moon God Lasya. Both boys had equal claims to the throne, and the darkness soon developed within the hearts of each. The boys, their once legendary bond now shattered, head their separate ways, each believed they had an equal claim to the throne, and each were greedy. They argued over who would rule for days, which slowly turned to weeks, which in turn became months. The boys allowed their once great city to fall into ruin, the people starving and living in chaos and fear, as neighbour turned upon neighbour, brothers turned upon brothers and the world was rent in two.

The boy who prayed to Lasya married soon after, and took the name of his new wife of house Holdar so as not to be compared to his brother. The boy who prayed to Shirael kept their mothers name, and married later in his life. Both boys split the kingdom, and raised their own cities, which would be separated by a range of impassable mountains, and an ancient feud, which by the nature of their wills would be irreconceivable.

Time passes, the only constant in this world already torn apart by the greed of the two boys, and the Kingdoms stand, however both are less wealthy than their former unified kingdom. Both families have a deep hatred for the other, each believing the right of their forefather for the throne of old Assamouroth, with their citizens earlier generations having followed that which they believed would reign true in spite of their families feud. Within Assam, King Theros of house Roarke decided to follow the Goddess of the sun Shirael, which his ancestors have prayed to since the split of the mighty kingdom during their time of need. His people lived in prosperity, farming off the land and living in happiness. Theros allowed his people to leave the city to farm if the fields in the mountains did not yield enough produce to sustain their city. The buildings in the town were generally adorned with gold, and the town was eternally bathed in the light of their Goddess. On the other side of the deadly mountain pass, his relation King Jareth of house Haldor ruled in accordance to the God Lasya, the symbol of hope for his people, who dedicated numerous shrines to him throughout their silver city. The boys, whilst at first tolerating each other as their neighbours eventually decided that peace could not last in their land of ash and blood, and so set about to destroy each other, willing an end to the hatred that had cloven their family and the families of those under them in two. By day and night the Kings would lay conquest upon each others kingdoms, both seeking to destroy that which the other had, and attempting to gain ultimate control of the lands they lived in, looking to unite their two divided kingdoms under the same banner once more.
