ShadeCraft is an RPG - Survival Server. SC has quests built in and spread throughout the world, all setup to help you get some more items and money. Due to gold having so little use in minecraft, it is being used as the server economy. And instead of stocking up on items you will never use, now you can setup a public shop that anyone can buy from. Also, you dont have to worry about staff abuse like on other servers where people can just buy their way in. Here the staff are chosen after watching how they act when players need help, and what they do when problems arise.
