Survival PvP Legal Votifier Server Version 1.6.4

Description

Welcome to the Forge Of UraBand.
Here at Uraband you forge your destiny and it Takes you where you lead it.
Uraband is a Towny PvP server...Well what does that mean?
It means that when you create a town or join one a lot of things are able to happen, you can join with other towns to create nations and then its up the nation whether or not to be peaceful or Warlike so be careful which nation you choose you dont want to be dragged into a war that isnt your fault. But whats so bad towny protects our items right? Wrong. On this server Griefing is not allowed but raiding is. so after they TNT your town walls (Which will regenerate) they can charge in and start raiding so dont think youre safe on the inside.

Before the dark times of today there was a group of people who traveled to our lands. These people were strong but desperate. They were refugees of a war long forgotten, running from horrors unspeakable. They came to a bend in a river where their leader proclaimed that the place was the right spot to settle as it was surrounded by woods and plains. Thus named after their leader the villagers decided to call it Thevur. And so the people settled and were at peace for a time.
One day however a traveller passed into their village with the warning of a group of looters and bandits to the North. Immediatly most of the townspeople took up their weapons and marched north, leaving only a handful behind to look after the village.
When the party didnt return many were worried. One day however people started walking out of the woods in drips and drabs, most-everyone was wounded and many were missing from those who set out. They told of how they were successful in their original plan but on how on the way back they saw other villages. Some were filled with peaceful and graceful people and had buildings that were a sight to behold. While others were barbaric, warlike and horrid.
They told of how when passing through the desert to the east that a tribe of nomadic people on strange beasts rode up and warned them of a threat towards the west (their homeland). Immediatly the people rushed to the defence of their village but as they entered the woods around their homeland they were ambushed by archers of such grace it couldnt be human.
The village people then set about making a keep to protect themselves and put watchtowers around the village to warn of attackers. Thevur turned from a village into a castle with strong walls and even stronger defenders.
The people of Thevur grew to become allies with many other villages in the area and they steadily grew to become the main peoples in the area. The other towns and tribes decided to settle with Thevur.
Many people flocked to Thevur to escape from oppression in other places. However Thevur also held a lot of secrets and hate. Different groups clashed over areas of the city wars were fought within the walls and eventually the desendents of the founders of the city got together to organise the way to combat this.
The families argued about what to do until a desendent of the Thevurs own family stepped forward, he was the desendent of the original leader of the group of refugees who started the town and the best warrior. He reminded the families of the massacre of the original war party, about not being able to bring their killers to justice. The desendents all decided that the way to clear the hatred that their city had become was to send everyone together to track down the killers.
As such many men set out to track down these mythical archers although reasons for doing so differed, some seeked to destroy, some seeked to assimilate - all seeked to find for themselves.
